You can usually see and feel the quality when you move into a new home – the solid construction, the attention to detail, the smooth finishes, and all those little extras. What really sets a quality home apart from others is that after many years of enjoying your home, these features will endure, adding value. The problem is that when you buy from builders who build their standard package home over and over, to their plans on their lots, usually in a big rush, corners end up being cut. The disappointment starts when you start to notice cracks appear after a couple of months, or doors and windows not quite fitted right, or leaks and drafts. Cutting corners now in your choice of homebuilder will end costing you now and later on.
